Research works published in this journal cover multidisciplinary disciplines.

IJMS will be published annually. The first issue of IJMS is a compilation of double-blind peer-reviewed research articles from the IRCon 2018: International Research Conference held last October 20, 2018 and NRCon 2019: National Research Conference held last February 22-23, 2019.

This maiden issue of IJMS seeks to be an avenue for scholars and researchers not only in the Philippines, but also from Asia and beyond, to disseminate scholarly research and studies in the intellectual market place.

The views and facts published in this journal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the International Association for Multidisciplinary, Research, Innovations & Development Center, Inc. A total of 184 basic education students were the respondents of the study. The descriptive-comparative design was utilized in the study. The respondents were selected using the stratified random sampling technique. The analysis of variance, mean and standard deviation were utilized as statistical tools in the study. The results reveal that the satisfaction of students with learning facilities is oftentimes evident. Meanwhile, the satisfaction of students with the worth or value of the services is sometimes evident. Furthermore, the majority of the students notably promote the selected academic institution to their family and friends. On the other hand, there is no significant difference in the overall satisfaction of the students when grouped according to grade level. This means that the student’s level of satisfaction in all grade levels is most likely the same.

Keywords: satisfaction, basic education students, School Services, Davao City, Philippines
Merichelle Joy U. The study's participants were tertiary private school educators in Davao City. There were seventeen (17) participants in total, ten (10) for individual interviews, and seven (7) for focus group discussions, all chosen using the snowball sampling method. Data was collected using the Google Meet platform. Seven (7) themes emerged from the data analysis which were: Instructional and Virtual Classroom Problems, Technological Problems, Well-being Issues, Bolster personal and client management strategies, Employing Effective Communication, Personal Innovativeness, and Devotion in the workplace. To ensure teaching and learning continuity, the study's implications show how significant it is to support and encourage our educators, as they are the ones who ensure that their school provides high-quality education, and for IT professionals at the institution who was the ones to suggest an exciting and easy-to-manage LMS (Learning Management System), and a tool that will help us meet the needs of more of our teachers in the new normal education setting.

Keywords: COVID-19, delivery of instruction, lived experiences, LMS, online platforms
Queen Froozan N. Utilizing Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and PROCESS macro for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the results of the survey of 318 teachers and middle managers from 19 private schools revealed that teacher commitment has a significant direct effect on readiness to lead. Moreover, results also reveal that teacher commitment has a significant indirect mediating effect between succession planning practices and faculty readiness for leadership positions. The findings of this study have implications for school administrators and policymakers in preparing academic leaders by strengthening the commitment of teachers.

Keywords: teacher commitment, succession planning practices, faculty readiness to lead, exploratory factor analysis, mediating effect, structural equation modeling
Allan A. Schools established in a secure and effective environment have a fundamental part in enhancing the capacity and excellence of students. Determining suitable innovative educational sites is essential and challenging to assure efficiency and long-term sustainability. The main objective of this research was to conduct a land suitability analysis using the suitability map generated from GIS-MCDA procedures according to a set of predefined criteria based on national standards. The criteria used for the analysis in this study were based only on the combined factors from the manual of regulations DO No. 88 s.2010, and CMO No. 40 s.2008 published by DepEd and CHED for establishing private institutional sites and buildings. The proposed expansion site is situated in Barangay Indangan Buhangin District, Davao City, with a total area of 40 hectares (400,000 m2). The result of the suitability map showed that the study area is highly suitable for an institutional site based on the four factors considered in the analysis.

Keywords: Geographical Information System (GIS), Multi-criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Suitability Map
Nikka Kaye D. It employed descriptive-correlational research designs to measure the study's level and relationships among variables. It investigated the descriptive and correlational values among the factors delineated as organizational citizenship behavior and work engagement in the workplace towards productivity involvement. Using purposive sampling, the respondents in the study were identified in the study. Moreover, mean, SD and Pearson r statistical tools were further used to analyze the data gathered from the various respondents. The results showed that organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and work productivity involvement (WPI) correlate significantly. Work engagement and productivity involvement are not significantly correlated, which contradicts the previous studies. The result showed that improving OCB in the workplace caters to work involvement which leads to productivity in the work area.

Keywords: organizational citizenship behavior, work engagement, work productivity involvement, organizational workforce, organizational productivity

Ronnie D.
