Abstract

This paper presents the findings of a descriptive study that was
conducted in 2016-2017 which examined the employability of 2015
Teacher Education graduates of Jose Maria College. A survey was
conducted among twelve 2015 teacher education graduates in terms of
their employment situations and the level of competency skills used. As
a result, both employment situation and competency skills used were
rated high. Higher Education Institutions should therefore engage their
students in activities that develop further skills to increase chances of
employability in the future.
